Mahamba Gorge Hiking 8th Edition Launch, Themed “Hiking against gender based violence”
We are happy to be gathered with you today, for the official launch of the 8th edition.
Inhlonhla is a founding member & sponsor of this initiative.
Since inception, we have seen a growth in attendance & support annually. We would like to commend the Mahamba team, for their continued selfless efforts in making a positive impact towards the various Shiselweni communities. Despite the pandemic which affected various industries, they managed to reach out to various communities, with food parcels. So as to ensure affected families were able to have food on their plate. With the aid of sponsors, the Mahamba team managed to complete a two room house in Mahlashaneni community.
Last year, the Mahamba gorge hiking organizing committee further managed to ensure all Covid 19 protocols were observed, such as to ensure that last year’s seventh edition was a success!
The Mahamba Gorge Hiking initiative , continues to attract more companies, annually. In our presence we have Instacash, a fintech company, owned and managed by Emaswati. This company is licensed and offers mobile banking and payment solutions across Eswatini.
In bid to promote Emaswati owned companies and initiatives, Inhlonhla pledges its branding rights for this edition, to Instacash. Let us support them as they strive to bring mobile services, and financial inclusion closer to all Emaswati. further, as a token of our continual support, and collaboration with Instacash we pledge E35,000.00 to the Mahamba Gorge foundation , which will go towards preparations for this edition, as well as a cash injection for the charitable deeds and the fight against gender based violence.
We encourage more companies to contribute towards this initiative, especially those within the Shiselweni’s region. This is a great platform to plough back to the community. With collaborative efforts, indeed we can do more.
Thank you.
